With over 15 years of international expertise, Justine Mehaut has dedicated her career to advancing sustainability and innovation. As the founder of Seikai, Justine brings a wealth of experience in project management, certifications, and the circular economy.
Her professional journey spans diverse roles:
- Leadership in Sustainable Fisheries and blue economy: Developed and managed the first regional ecolabel in France for seafood products, emphasizing sustainability and quality.
- Entrepreneurial Vision: Founded innovative projects, including Réutiliz in Réunion Island, championing reusable packaging and environmental stewardship.
- Global Impact: Managed large-scale projects across Europe, the Indian Ocean, and Africa, blending technical expertise with a commitment to community development.
An advocate for research and innovation, she has led projects in fishing gear recycling, seafood quality enhancement, labels design, products development, and feasibility studies.
